Katherine is grateful for the opportunity to share the ancient, sacred practices of yoga as taught to her by her many teachers, a rich lineage extending to India and around the world. Her dynamic, expressive classes (suitable for all levels of practitioner who are curious to dive inward) focus on cultivating an experience of Bhakti, evoking the devotional qualities of yoga which offer a practitioner ultimate happiness and ease by connecting to God. She combines physical and subtle practices for an experience designed to help students incorporate yogic principles and philosophical teachings into daily life -- both on and off the mat, making practical sense of ancient wisdom in order to bring light and love to a dark and chaotic world.
Katherine offers group & private yoga sessions, both online & in person.
She is currently based in the greater Nashville, Tennessee area but is happy to teach wherever spirit leads.

Restorative/ Pranayama/ Meditation
This slow moving, hypnotic yoga class focuses less on movement and more on sensation with the ultimate goal of complete focus on the breath (meditation). Warm-up movements and prop-supported postures are tailored to the students in the room, offering space for total relaxation of the body and mind.
Kirtan
Kirtan is the sacred practice of chanting mantras in order to cross over the chatter of the mind and connect to our true nature, which is love and bliss. Katherine invites students to lose themselves in ancient mantras and resonant harmonium sounds in safe and joyful space for the ancient practice of singing together which offers such profound benefits to those who experience it.
